Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

The Cook prepares recipes for patients and employees while demonstrating strong cooking abilities and techniques. The Cook follows daily food preparations instructed by Executive Chef. The food service and clinical programs provide services based on department standards for meal delivery, nutritional assessment and patient education.Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program Equivalent to a grade school education. Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum 3 years of cooking experience.License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Requires long periods of standing in high temperature areas.Benefits
