Job Description

Line Cook Tater Town is seeking a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Work efficiently during busy service while maintaining attention to detail Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with prep, stocking, cleaning, and closing duties Identify and solve problems quickly while maintaining a positive attitude Take an "eyes up" approach by anticipating needs, staying aware of the kitchen flow, and stepping in where needed Qualifications Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience necessary Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We're looking for someone who doesn't just cook food—they help make the entire kitchen run smoothly. Pay is commensurate with experience. $19-24/hr We are looking for both Part TIme and Full Time applicants. Room for growth for the right individual.
