Job Description

Job Overview Duties Lead and supervise the culinary team for a small upscale home for Catholic Priest and Brothers, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service to our residents. Oversee dietary department operations, ensuring compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures and dietary guidelines Manage inventory control and food production processes to optimize costs, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards Plan menus in collaboration with chefs and kitchen staff, incorporating fine dining techniques and resident preferences Coordinate schedule ensuring residents receive excellent service delivery Enforce strict food safety protocols, including proper handling, sanitization procedures, and adherence to health regulations Supervise events and special occasions to deliver memorable resident and guest experiences Mentor and develop team members through effective leadership, training programs, and performance evaluations Skills Proven expertise in food service management Deep knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and inventory management techniques Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary innovation for fine dining settings Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively Experience in event planning Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and ensure seamless teamwork Competence in cost control strategies related to food handling, inventory control, and overall food management Familiarity with managing dietary requirements, specialized diets and ensuring compliance with health regulations Passion for delivering exceptional resident service while maintaining high standards of hospitality

$50,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
