Job Description

About Us:
East Side Nursing Home is a caring and dedicated skilled nursing facility committed to providing high-quality care to our residents. We take pride in offering nutritious, home-style meals in a warm and welcoming environment.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. The cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to established menus, resident dietary needs, and food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals that meet nutritional and therapeutic requirements. Follow menus and recipes accurately. Ensure food is handled, prepared, and stored safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Work cooperatively with dietary aides and nursing staff. Follow all state and federal regulations related to food service in healthcare settings.
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or long-term care experience preferred). Knowledge of modified diets and safe food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to resident satisfaction.
Shifts Available:
PM Shift (Flexible scheduling and weekend rotation may apply)
