Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Lead Line Cook, where your passion for food and exceptional kitchen skills will shine! In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead food preparation and cooking activities, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Your expertise will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Duties Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen line, ensuring efficient food preparation and timely service Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, recipes, and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food handling, knife skills, and cooking techniques to uphold safety and quality standards Assist in menu planning by offering input on seasonal ingredients and innovative dish ideas Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices Oversee food inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste through effective portion control Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of menu items with precision and consistency Experience Proven culinary experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining exposure Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly with excellent knife skills Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs and meal modifications Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable Familiarity with food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and quality assurance Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of menu planning, food service operations, catering processes, and serving techniques Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
