Your culinary skills will contribute to creating a vibrant dining experience for our guests, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors. Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of safety standards in food production and handling procedures. Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to follow recipes accurately while adhering to food industry best practices. Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required. Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. A passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn new techniques and improve skills through ongoing training. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
