Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Lead Cook to assist in the preparation of nutritious, balanced meals in alignment with dietary and state guidelines. This role will ensure food safety, maintain a clean kitchen environment, and accommodate special needs. In addition the Lead Cook will collaborate with staff to support student health and wellbeing through quality meal service.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare daily meals for students and staff Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety Manage kitchen inventory and supplies Adapt menus to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions Uphold the school's mission and values in all food-related activities
Qualifications:
Experience in meal preparation, preferably in a school or child-focused setting Knowledge of food safety standards and National School Lunch Program Ability to work collaboratively with school staff Successful candidates will be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a courteous and Christ-like attitude; and agree to adhere to the standards of moral conduct and mission, vision, and values of both Harvest Preparatory School and World Harvest Church.
