The kitchen is a fast paced, high stress environment, and it is important that you are able to not only perform well under stress but also keep a level head while doing it. Being a cook means you are a part of a well oiled machine that relies on each other to hold themselves accountable, get the job done right, and always produce consistent products together as a team. This requires constant communication, spacial awareness and an in-depth knowledge of policy and procedure, cooking methods & recipes, menu items and food safety & health code. No one can run a high volume kitchen on their own

Job Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
