Capsized Bar & Grill is a high-energy neighborhood bar and grill serving elevated comfort food, killer burgers, wings, sandwiches, pizzas, and brunch. We're building a fast-paced kitchen focused on consistency, speed, cleanliness, and great food—without the corporate nonsense.

Position Summary:

We're looking for dependable, hard-working line cooks who can handle volume, stay organized under pressure, and execute food with consistency. This is not a "stand around and check your phone" kitchen. We need team players who move with urgency, communicate well, and take pride in what hits the window.

Responsibilities:

Execute menu items consistently to spec Work assigned stations (fry, sauté, flat top, pizza, pantry) Maintain clean, organized stations throughout service Prep ingredients for service (portioning, sauces, proteins, vegetables) Follow food safety and sanitation standards Stock and rotate inventory (FIFO) Communicate with kitchen team and expo during service Assist with opening, closing, and deep cleaning duties Maintain ticket times during high-volume rushes Help receive and properly store deliveries

Requirements:

1+ year line cook experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen Reliable transportation Weekend availability required Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 50 lbs Strong sense of urgency and teamwork Food safety knowledge preferred
