Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards Cook dishes with precision, ensuring consistency, flavor, and quality in every plate Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep and service flow Requirements Previous experience in food service or culinary environments preferred; restaurant or dietary department experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency across dishes Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff Experience with catering or large-scale meal preparation is advantageous Demonstrated understanding of food industry standards related to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary skills in a lively environment.
