This position plays an important role in providing nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting the daily operation of our school cafeteria. Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will assist with food preparation, meal service, and cashier responsibilities while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals using standardized recipes, operating the cafeteria register, handling daily cash transactions and records, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and helping ensure students receive reimbursable meals that meet federal nutrition guidelines. Above all, this position helps create a positive cafeteria experience by building respectful relationships with students and providing friendly, efficient service each day.
