Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Assist with meal preparation, slicing techniques, and portioning to support smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders Adhere strictly to recipe instructions, portion sizes, and presentation standards to uphold the restaurant's quality expectations Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred; dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members under pressure Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is advantageous Demonstrated understanding of the food industry's best practices for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards Culinary experience that includes cooking techniques, recipe adherence, and food handling expertise Join us as a vital part of our culinary team!
