Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for pizza offerings Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Ensure all food preparation meets food safety regulations and standards Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, particularly with pizza or similar cuisine Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills Previous experience in culinary roles such as dietary aide, catering, or fine dining is a plus Familiarity with the food industry, including kitchen operations and food service protocols This role is essential for delivering delicious, high-quality pizzas while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
