Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
Maintains positive guest relations at all times, resolves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction. Greets guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service. Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency and accuracy of product. Exhibits knowledge, understanding, and application of various cooking techniques. Prepares daily food specials. Exhibits preparation and knowledge of base sauces, stocks, and soups. Cooks, prepares, plates and assembles food. Demonstrates ability to work the line in different locations. Operates kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, and flat top. Maintains a solid knowledge of all food products. Performs all assigned side work to include replenishing/restocking work station with supplies. Adheres to control procedure for food costs and quality. Rotates all products on the first-in, first-out philosophy. Properly labels and dates all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation. Checks station before, during, and after shift for proper preparation, set-up and cleanliness. Abides by all health codes, hand washing guidelines and fully observes all safety procedures. Strives for picture perfect plate presentation. Performs all other duties as assigned
Training and Experience:
Prefer six (6) months prior experience as cook
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation of criminal and financial history to obtain a Gaming Permit from the Office of the Delaware Gaming Commission. Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result. Must pass annual Title 31 exam Must be able to pass an annual A.C.E. training exam.
