Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety protocols and sanitation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, grills, and other culinary tools Support catering functions by preparing large quantities of food for events or special occasions Serve dishes promptly while ensuring quality control, presentation appeal, and customer satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or food service environments demonstrating strong food handling skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures Skilled in food preparation techniques including knife skills, cooking methods, and meal assembly Experience with menu planning, catering, and large-scale meal preparation preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
