Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented well
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area
• Adhere to all sanitation regulations and guidelines

Experience:

• Proven experience in similar role in a bakery/cafe/restaurant
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
