The ideal candidate will assist in ingredient preparation and cooking orders. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items, including cutting proteins and vegetables, frying, and rice prep. Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in food quality. Prep ingredients for the day, including handling protein, vegetables, sauces, etc. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment. Collaborate with other cooks and staff for meal preparation and service. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, mopping, etc.
NOTE:
Training pays $11/hour, and once training is over, pay increases from there. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience on a grill, stove, and a deep fryer is a plus. Who can work Monday through Saturday 5-9pm shift.
Pay:
$14.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
