Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Diner Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is able to prepare, lunch, and dinner menu items in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Cook breakfast foods, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and daily specials.
  • Set up and stock cooking stations before each shift.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health department regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
  • Properly store and label food items.
  • Work efficiently with other kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy meal periods.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Previous cooking or line cook experience preferred (diner experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
