Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials that align with our culinary vision. Handle food safely by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours. Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Skills Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering settings, with a focus on kitchen operations. Strong culinary experience with an emphasis on fine dining standards and presentation. Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs. Skilled in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations to ensure the highest quality standards. Excellent food handling skills combined with a solid understanding of kitchen safety protocols. Ability to plan menus effectively while considering ingredient availability, seasonality, and customer preferences.
