Prep Cook Job Description:
Our Prep Cooks are part of our collaborative kitchen team responsible for preparing a variety of ingredients with precision and care. Attention to detail and desire to work in a team environment contribute to the success of this position.
What You Will Do:
Wash and chop produce, measure ingredients, prep stations by following prep list. Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling. Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage. Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment.
About You:
Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required. Great at following direction and step by step instruction with accuracy. Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication. Able to prioritize tasks safely and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 40 lbs. continuously stand, walk, reach, bend in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
