Job Description

Fast Times is looking for a pizza cook who takes pride in the craft.

You ll work at the center of our kitchen stretching dough, building pizzas, managing the oven, and making sure every pie leaves the kitchen looking and tasting the way it should.

We care about speed, but we care just as much about quality. The right person pays attention to the details: the stretch, the portions, the bake, the cut, the ticket, and the final presentation.

Inspired by the neighborhood hangouts of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Fast Times brings together handcrafted pizza, plant-based favorites, soft serve, music, pinball, and genuine hospitality.

We want Fast Times to be the kind of place West Linn is proud to call its own and that starts with consistently great pizza.

What You ll DoYour primary responsibility will be producing high-quality pizzas during both preparation and service.

You'll learn to:

Stretch and shape pizza dough by handBuild pizzas according to Fast Times recipes and portion standardsWork the pizza oven and manage multiple orders at onceMonitor bake quality, timing, color, and consistencyCut, finish, box, and match pizzas to the correct ticketsPrepare sauces, cheese, vegetables, and other ingredientsFollow labeling, dating, rotation, and food-safety proceduresMaintain a clean, stocked, and organized pizza stationCommunicate clearly with the kitchen and guest-experience teamsRecognize when production is falling behind and help keep service movingComplete opening, closing, cleaning, dishwashing, and restocking dutiesOccasionally support other areas of the restaurant when the team needs helpWho We re Looking ForPizza or high-volume kitchen experience is strongly preferred, but we will train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.

As you develop your pizza-making skills and learn more of the operation, you may have opportunities to train new team members, take greater ownership of kitchen execution, and develop into a Shift Leader.

Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods during a shiftWork safely around hot ovens, kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and refrigerated environmentsFrequently bend, reach, twist, lift, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movementsLift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safelyMove dough trays, ingredient containers, dish racks, and restaurant suppliesMove quickly and safely through a busy kitchenReasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
