Job Summary:

Line Cook Taste Wine Cafe is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Line Cooks to join our Back of House team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to executing dishes consistently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be crucial in preparing high-quality food that meets Taste Wine Cafe's standards, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Execution:

Accurately prepare, cook, and plate all dishes according to Taste Wine Cafe's recipes and quality standards.

Station Management:

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout service, ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are prepped and readily available.

Quality Control:

Ensure all food items prepared meet proper portioning, presentation, and taste standards before being sent out.

Inventory Handling:

Properly store and handle food and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Team Collaboration:

Work effectively and communicate clearly with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.

Problem Identification:

Promptly communicate any food quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or inventory shortages to the Kitchen Manager or Chef.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or culinary setting.

Demonstrated culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and flavor profiles.

Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive team-player attitude.

Ability to balance fun and professionalism in the workplace.

Passion for food, wine, and contributing to exceptional guest experiences.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
