Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Daisy Hill Kitchen and Grill. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled food items to order. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Duties:

• Prepare and cook grilled food items according to established recipes and guidelines
• Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and meet quality standards
• Monitor food inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
• Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and provide exceptional customer service
• Cash handling experience is preferred
• Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
