Full Job Description Description:
Our commitment to excellent guest services is what drives us, and we are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience while staying with us. We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our restaurant team. The Line Cook prepares food that meets current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensures that safe and high-quality food service is provided at all times. The Line Cook prepares all items needed for service, from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat, and may be asked to prepare items for another station or special event. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and one-year prior experience in a food service setting. Additional culinary training/coursework highly desired. He or she must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares hot and cold food (entrees, soups, salads, etc.) following established recipes for all meal services and special events Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices Restocks food supplies and takes inventory when required Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred One year of relevant experience Formal culinary training a plus Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
