Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious meals that meet our high standards for safety, quality, and presentation. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for our residents, ensuring every meal is served with care and professionalism. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area through regular cleaning and proper food handling Assist with menu planning to accommodate dietary needs and preferences of residents Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food preparation and service Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and service times Adhere strictly to food portioning, presentation, and recipe specifications for consistent quality Qualifications Prior experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food preparation methods Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required Join us in creating memorable dining experiences that enhance the lives of our residents!

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
