Full Job Description Job Type:
Full-time / Part-time About the Role Braddock Public House is seeking a skilled, reliable Fry Cook to anchor our high-volume fry and hot side stations. We run a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen focused on execution, consistency, and teamwork. If you take pride in a spotless station, move with urgency during peak service, and know how to keep ticket times tight without sacrificing quality, we want you on our line. Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and break down the fry station according to kitchen standards and food safety protocols. Execute high-volume service with speed, precision, and consistency. Monitor fryer oil quality, maintain oil rotation schedules, and perform daily/weekly boil-outs and filtration. Maintain strict cleanliness, sanitation, and station organization (clean-as-you-go mentality). Manage station pars, restock line coolers, and complete daily prep lists accurately. Communicate effectively with expo and the rest of the hotline to ensure seamless ticket flow.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of high-volume line/fry cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
Speed & Focus:
Ability to thrive under pressure while keeping ticket times low and quality high.
Sanitation Standards:
Strong working knowledge of food safety, temperature control, and proper food handling.
Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and a solid communicator on and off the line.
Availability:
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and peak holiday shifts. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($18.00 - $22.00/hr). Employee discounts.
