Summary:
Cigars International is in search of a dedicated individual with a positive demeanor to join our team as a Line Cook & Bar Back, infusing their strong work ethic and lively personality into the operations of the largest cigar bars in the nation. The ideal candidate should bring substantial experience in a high-energy environment, consistently upholding Cigars International's standards for guest satisfaction. As the fastest growing cigar company in the country and a premier online and direct marketer of fine cigars, premium pipe tobaccos, luxury gifts, and accessories, we are excited to welcome an enthusiastic addition to assist our Bar Staff in day-to-day activities. What can you expect as a Line Cook & Bar Back at Cigars International? Complete all opening prep work efficiently, accurately and in time for service Maintain proper inventory and follow proper storage protocols to minimize waste Prepare food orders accurately and in a timely fashion Assess quality of ingredients Always maintain and clean all kitchen areas and equipment. Always maintain superior sanitation and cleanliness protocols. Interface professionally with all members of management, Front-Of-House and Back-Of-House staff Execute all opening, closing and side-work duties as established by management. Be capable of acting as a trainer or mentor to new hires as requested. Attend service training classes and programs as requested and scheduled by management. Attend all staff meetings as requested and scheduled Ensure that company service standards are met. Understand and adhere to all store policies, including but not limited to: dress code, meal policy, time & attendance standards, use of company property, loss prevention initiatives, workplace safety standards, schedule requests, conduct with co-workers, etc. Be capable of performing all the duties and responsibilities listed above to meet or exceed company expectations. Assist bartenders in duties including but not limited to stocking, organizing, cleaning and maintaining a professional bar. Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): 2 years professional experience preferred. Either bar or restaurant setting. Understanding of industry standard hierarchy and operations of a kitchen Ability to work quickly and accurately Ability to read English and understand guests' orders Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Ability to communicate professionally and precisely with supervisors and co-workers Our company uses E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
