In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a lively, efficient work environment. Your expertise in food preparation, kitchen equipment operation, and high-volume production will drive our culinary excellence. We're looking for a motivated professional eager to inspire a team and deliver memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining setting. Duties Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen line to ensure timely and quality food service Supervise and mentor line cooks, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team atmosphere Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Oversee food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising units, poaching stations, and other culinary tools Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials to enhance the dining experience Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock quality, and communicate supply needs to management Requirements Proven experience in food industry roles such as banquet , catering, or restaurant cooking with a focus on fine dining environments Strong culinary skills including food preparation techniques like braising, grilling, poaching, and meal assembly Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills and operating commercial kitchen equipment Knowledge of food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health standards Experience in high-volume production settings with an emphasis on recipe adherence and consistency Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service If you're ready to elevate your culinary career in a vibrant setting where your skills make a real impact, we want to hear from you! Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
