About Vela Vela is a chef-driven restaurant in the heart of Doylestown, focused on delivering exceptional food, hospitality, and guest experiences. We are seeking motivated and dependable Line Cooks who are passionate about cooking, teamwork, and maintaining high culinary standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef specifications Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with kitchen team members during service Assist with prep work, inventory, and closing duties as needed Qualifications Previous line cooking experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
