What You'll Do As our Cook, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience by: Preparing and cooking fresh, flavorful meals following approved menus and recipes. Presenting meals with care to create an enjoyable dining experience. Following all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area. Working closely with nursing and leadership teams to accommodate special diets and resident preferences. Ensuring compliance with ServeSafe guidelines and state regulations. Previous cooking experience required; experience in senior living, healthcare, or memory care is preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Compassion for older adults and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds.
