Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials to keep offerings fresh and exciting Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the highest quality standards Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients accurately Support food preparation activities such as marinating, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes with attention to detail Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts to promote a safe kitchen environment Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours and ensure timely delivery of orders Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, especially for specialized menu needs Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with catering or large-scale food service operations is advantageous Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and serving guests Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
