Job Description
Position Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized work station, and working efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food service.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
- Ensure all food is prepared and served quickly, safely, and at the correct temperature.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized station throughout service
- Assist with prep work, labeling, and storing food items properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Support a positive and team-oriented kitchen culture
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a line cook or prep cook is strongly preferred, but we are willing to provide some training
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some extra hours on special days
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Commitment to food quality and safety
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
