The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes, ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and support smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for food.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for menu items (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, etc.) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with inventory, labeling, and proper food storage Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workstations after use Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from the
Head Chef or Kitchen Manager Requirements:
Proven cooking experience or culinary training is required Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
