Sunday Job Summary:
This is a single-role position requiring a team approach by collaborating with the Manager to manage daily café operations. The primary focus is on food preparation and kitchen management. The Cook ensures the smooth operation of the kitchen and food service while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Manager to oversee daily café operations. Prepare and serve food according to the menu provided by management. Manage food and kitchen inventory to ensure uninterrupted service. Submit weekly supply orders in coordination with the Facility Manager. Management will place orders weekly. Provide input for weekly specials based on available items. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. Address any food service-related needs, including maintaining proper stock levels and ensuring equipment readiness. additional duties assigned as necessary for the successful operation of the Café.
Additional Requirements:
SERV Safe Certification (JVW will be responsible for certification fee). Must be at least 18 years of age Able to stand and work in fast paced environment JVW Team Events . There are a few events each year that may require some additional hours.
