Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for daily service or special catering events Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and appliances through regular cleaning routines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to safety standards during food production and equipment operation Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong kitchen skills Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe adherence Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or serving is advantageous Understanding of food handling regulations and food industry best practices Embark on a culinary journey that values your skills and enthusiasm!
