Do:

Responsible for cooking, baking, and food preparation Ensure safe food storage and disposal, including maintaining temperature logs. Cook is responsible for preparing meals and snacks for children with special dietary needs Maintain children s allergy list regularly. Weekly ordering and receiving all food supplies, and replenishing dishware and cookware Follow food portioning guidelines and maintain appropriate food inventory Complies with all health regulations and the company s best practices Upkeep kitchen cleaning schedule, including dishwashing, daily, weekly, and monthly duties Occasionally required to prepare food for field trips, school-age programs, and community events. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time to meet the needs of the daycare centers.

Who You Are Required :

Current Food Handler Certification 2 years of cooking and/or kitchen-related experience Valid driver's license and a clean driver s abstract. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Clean criminal record check Preferred Experience working with vulnerable populations Experience in a daycare environment would be an asset.
