About us Inn on Main is a historic restaurant in the heart of Oley, PA. Recently renovated and revamped with a new menu and head chef, our restaurant is perfect for enjoying delicious, locally-sourced dishes and expertly crafted beverages. We take pride in providing exceptional service, delicious dining, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors. Join our team and be a part of our tradition of excellence. ## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. ## Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash ## Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
