Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Cook to join our team. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled food items. This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic kitchen environment.Duties:
- Prepare and cook grilled food items according to established recipes and guidelines
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station
- Assist with food preparation and menu planning as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests from customers
- Assist with catering events as required
Skills:
- Previous experience in food handling and cooking, preferably in a grill cook role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of menu planning and familiarity with different types of cuisine is a plus
