Line Cook

The Berks County YRClub, wyomissings premier private dining and social club is seeking line cooks to join their team Open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for creating delicious meals. If you are a culinary enthusiast looking to showcase your talent in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you! ## Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Handle food safely and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Contribute to menu planning and suggest new dishes based on seasonal availability
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and grinders effectively ## Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in the food industry
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in preparing various cuisines and executing diverse cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
