Your expertise in food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen operations will help deliver memorable dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of meal preparation. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and meet service times. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe specifications. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong culinary skills. Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus. Skilled in knife techniques, slicing methods, and other food preparation skills essential for efficiency. Familiarity with safety standards in food production and food safety management practices. Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes. Background in catering or large-scale food service is advantageous.
