Job Summary:

The Swiftwater, the Poconos newest luxury property, is hiring. We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Line Cook to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to work and learn in a brand new induction kitchen. State of the art induction technology cooking will bring a new level of cuisine to the Pocono Mountains.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a smooth service that meets customer preferences and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
• Coordinate with other departments, such as catering or dietary, to fulfill special requests or dietary restrictions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods
• Reliability and promptness
• Induction cooking experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
