We're seeking a Food Service Cook who is: Looking for an opportunity to make a difference A collaborative team player Ready to support with heart and purpose What You'll Do Job duties include preparing and serving food in compliance with USDA and PA state health regulations, to students in a cafeteria setting. In addition, the Food Service Cook will work closely with the kitchen manager and/or Food Service Director on menu planning, production and inventory control. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Current ServSafe Certification The ability to work collaboratively with others School meal preparation experience Knowledge of National School Lunch Program and its requirements Knowledge of HACCP procedures and requirements Proven effective communication skills The ability to read, write, and follow directions What We Offer You Competitive salary $18.39 (7.5 hrs./day; 10 months per year
