Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and providing excellent customer service.Essential Functions:
- Cooking
- Preparing and cooking delicious food that our customers will find appealing to both the eye and taste buds.
- Collaboration
- Working closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure that all food needed for events is ready on time and neatly organized.
- Organization
- Maintaining organization of the kitchen, freezers, and coolers to ensure that a high level of cleanliness and that all health and safety standards are met.
Duties:
- All kitchen utensils, cookware, etc. kept clean and stocked in kitchen for use first thing each morning
- Make sure all food items are within date and replace as needed
- Coordinate with Kitchen Manager concerning upcoming events that will require any sort of food(s)
- Keep coolers/freezer organized and cleaned weekly. Keep track of cooler and freezer temps to ensure they are always working. Keep stock rotated and available for sale. Use up all available old stock and list specials accordingly
- Keep prep tables clean and stocked at all times. Keep extra stock of sliced cheeses, vegetables or other items necessary for daily use
- Friendly Customer Service in person and on the phone
- Inventory control (stocking and keeping enough inventories on hand)
- Keep dishes clean
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food industry experience preferred
