Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of flavor and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Whether you're chopping vegetables, grilling proteins, or assembling plates, your energy and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional food service every day. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and portioning to support daily menu needs Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations Experience Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety protocols is essential Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and knife handling are desirable Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety Prior experience with catering or serving can be beneficial but is not required This energetic role invites motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while delivering outstanding service.
