The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques to ensure a safe dining experience. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Support the dietary department in accommodating special dietary needs when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods are advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
