Duties and Responsibilities Prepare ingredients including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, measuring ingredients, etc. Cook meals in a timely and efficient manner, upholding the appropriate temperature and consistency. Be knowledgeable on the various kitchen stations, i.e. grill, hot line, salad station, etc. As assigned, assist with food preparation, kitchen line, and dishwashing. Uphold the food quality including cooking temperatures and plate presentation. Be aware of contamination on reported allergies. Uphold the kitchen cleanliness standards including sanitizing surfaces. Adhere to the Health Department standards at all times within all kitchen operations. Immediately, report any concerns with the manager. Uphold the FIFO (First In, First Out) process to include all products are appropriately dated. Uphold the refrigerator food storage safety measures to include product placement and temperature logs. Report inventory and product needs to the manager Uphold the company's policies and procedures. All other assigned duties.
