Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and fryers Follow food safety protocols diligently, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and utensils Maintain cleanliness of workstations, cooking areas, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and suggesting improvements based on kitchen operations Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and smooth service flow Adhere strictly to safety standards during food preparation and cooking processes to prevent accidents or contamination Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food preparation and cooking skills within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Skilled in using various kitchen tools and operating commercial kitchen equipment safely Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen team members Experience with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is a plus Ability to demonstrate knife skills, slicing techniques, and precise portion control Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and culinary best practices Join us if you're passionate about culinary excellence!
