Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team at The Lowline Hotel, contributing to the creation of high-quality, appealing dishes across various dining outlets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety are paramount. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards for the restaurant, dining outlets, cafe, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquets.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
  • Minimize waste and optimize cost and production efficiency.
  • Maintain proper storage and rotation of food supplies.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of menu items as needed.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of food and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related food service environment preferred.
  • Food Handlers Certification (must meet state requirements).
  • Ability to clearly convey information and ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternatives to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
