Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Breakfast Cook to assist in our morning kitchen operations. You will be responsible for prepping ingredients, opening the kitchen, and cooking breakfast/brunch items to order to ensure our customers start their day with exceptional food. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and adheres to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities Kitchen Setup & Prep:
Open the kitchen, set up workstations, and execute daily prep lists (e.g., chopping vegetables, mixing batters, and preparing breakfast meats).
Food Production:
Prepare and cook menu items quickly and accurately, ensuring all dishes meet established portion controls and quality standards.
Breakfast Specialty:
Specialize in cooking breakfast favorites (eggs, pancakes, skillets, etc.) to order.
Inventory Management:
Check stock, organize walk-in coolers, and enforce strict FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation.
Sanitation & Safety:
Maintain a spotless workstation, follow proper food handling guidelines, and complete assigned daily cleaning and dishwashing tasks.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth morning service. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Short Order Cook. Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard kitchen equipment (grills, flat tops, fryers, etc.).
Hours:
Monday -Friday and some Saturdays as needed.
Job Types:

$7.25 - $20.00 per hour
