Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook PM, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of flavor and presentation. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, whether in a fine dining setting or catering event. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation expertise and grow within a vibrant kitchen team committed to excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Execute food preparation tasks efficiently during busy shifts, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with precision and attention to detail Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, especially in fine dining environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering operations is a plus Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for quality control and customer service Kitchen experience demonstrating efficiency in a fast-paced culinary environment Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us—where your skills will be valued, your creativity encouraged, and your growth supported every step of the way!
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
